Third Leading Cause Of Death In The US

3

Medical errors.

According to the latest study made by BMJ, medical errors –  in which, incorrect treatments, wrong diagnoses, medical mishaps – all are the result of the third cause of death in the US.

More than 250k deaths are because of medical errors each year. The exact numbers are not available for the moment –  thing which needs to change, sais BMJ.

“There’s vast underrecognition, underpreparation, and underfunding of the problem of medical care gone awry, even though it has a significant impact on public health,” Dr. Martin Makary, health policy and management professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, said.

The study revealed that more than 9% of all deaths in USA take place in the Hospitals and may be preventable. But, dr. John Torres also said, the surgeons are not always to blame.

“I think one of the big things they’re emphasizing is not to put it on a bad doctor plate and say bad doctors are causing all these medical errors,” Torres told KUSA-TV.

“There’s no such thing as a perfect surgery, that nothing’s going to go wrong,” he continued. “There’s no such thing as any procedure that doesn’t have side effects with it. And that’s why I always encourage patients, before you go in, know what’s supposed to happen, what could happen, and understand what you need to do to follow up with that because we’re a team, the doctor and the patients are a team, need to work together.”

Following this result, BMJ is calling all the centers for Disease Control and Prevention to gather more info about the deaths certificates. For the moment, there is no standard procedure for gathering the most accurate numbers behind the medical errors.

The BMJ’s research builds upon a previous study that discovered more than 210,000 deaths per year are a result of medical errors. After adjusting for 2013 hospital admission rates, Makary and his team determined the actual number is much closer to 251,454 deaths per year, far surpassing the CDC’s currently-listed third-leading cause of death, respiratory disease, which kills nearly 150,000 people per year.

The BMJ study is built on previous studies that revealed that more than 210k deaths/year are because of medical errors. The actual number for 2016, Markary determined, could be close to 260k, the reason why this is the third cause of death in the US, more than 150k being killed by respiratory diseases.

The first-leading cause of death is heart disease, followed by cancer in the no. 2 spot.

Donald Trump Funny Parody Of Peter Griffin In Latest Emmy Show

1

Donald Trump is a Never Ending fountain of ideas, a true gift for us! A guy with so much contradiction in his blood and full of controversy, you cannot help but remain astounded by his amazing success in the presidential campaign

Juts look at his Facebook page and see the latest post. The man’s a dream for Satire writers.

Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane has made his job and wrote about that, making us all laugh.

He presented Peter Griffin himself –  a typical American lad – portraying D.T, another typical American s**it, sorry, lad!

The caption reads: “As long as we’re voting for dumb loudmouths, can I get an Emmy?”

Maybe this will be the year they will be recognised. The show ended itself back in 2012 when their mailer reffered to the producers as “bloated, overprivileged, Brentwood Jews.”

But the details in the picture are funny as shit. The mouth, hands; the whiteness of the outer eyes, and last but not least, that blooody barnet. They sure deserve it.

Danielle Brooks has decided to break some fashion rules. The rule about plus-size women and patterns. What she is proving in Christian Siriano for Lane Bryant’s new campaign ads, it’s that it’s time to toss out the outdated fashion rule that plus-size women should “stay away from” color and patterns.

Siriano hand picked Brooks to model the 50s vibrant pieces. To Brooks this was more than just an opportunity to be the face of a brand. It served as a chance for her to speak about a common issue that the plus-size women face in Hollywood and in the fashion industry.

Brooks, who has initially worn colorful Siriano pieces to red carpets events before, praised the designer for creating a collection for women of all sizes. As opposed to other designers that only create pieces for one type of woman, Sirano is known to be diverse with women clothing. Sirano, is also the designer behind plus-size fashion blogger; Nicolette Mason’s; 2015 wedding dress.

Siriano believes women of all sizes deserve options and shouldn’t be restricted to old fashioned clothes. She also says that fashion shouldn’t be defined by size, every woman should however feel stylish and comfortable in their  clothes.

This was exactly what Reddit jfreeman81 went through as he was exploring the woods behind his great grandmother’s house.

Reddit found the abandoned overgrown cemetery after 20 minutes of wandering. He later took to social media and shared his creepy findings with the rest of the world. Despite being creepy, Reddit got more information regarding the graves.

According to Find a Grave, the cemetery is home to 15 souls who died between 1901-1926. The cemetery located in Forrest County, Mississippi is surprisingly in good condition despite their age.
Quite freaky ain’t it?

Famous Mafia Boss arrested by The Pizza Boy aka Police

2

Imagine ordering pizza from Domino’s and following that tracker thing but getting arrested instead. A mafia chief in southern Italy, was arrested by detectives disguised as pizza boys. He was arrested while watching Napoli Vs Inter Milan on the weekend.

Roberto Manganiello, 35, was listed one of Italy’s 100 most dangerous criminals for an alleged double murder in 2004. Mangeniello is a boss in Naples’ notorious Camora mafia and has been on the run since 2013.
On Sunday, as he was watching the game and awaiting his pizza, the fake delivery boys knocked on his apartment door. This was the same apartment which he ran his drug and his extortion business.

The operation was described as a “success” due to top-level investigative work” since Mangeniello offered no resistance. The worst part of it all is that Milan beat his team 2-0, what a bummer.

What a series of bad luck for Robert he gets arrested, his team loses and he doesn’t get the pizza eventually.

Little Girl Saves Birthday Cupcake For The Garbage Man

1

A three year old girl does an unthinkable act of kindness. Brooklyn Andracke, the three year old, saved a cupcake on her birthday for the most unthought-of person.

Every Thursday, Brooklyn is filled with so much joy when she hears the honks of the garbage van. This is because of the garbage man who makes sure he honks and waves at her with a broad smile.

When the garbage man drove by a week after Broklyn’s birthday, he honked as was his tradition but this time was different. Andracke motioned for him to stop, and Brooklyn handed him the gift. Dopson, the garbage man, was left in shock. Traci, Brooklyn’s mum, had to explain to Dopson how he has made Thursday a special day to them by the honking and waving. Dopson, who normally has a meeting on Thursdays, tries to get out of there in a hurry so that he can make sure he sees them.

Despite the kindness, Dopson has no kids of his own but he mentors children and he loves them. It turns out that Dopson is not only special to their family. Andracke sent a note to Bloomington Officials who posted it on the city’s Facebook page. The post received tremendous likes, replies and shares from various people.

Dopson surprised Brooklyn the following week with a belated birthday gift of Frozen toys. As a thank you, Broklyn made a thank you sign for her favorite garbage man. Dopson, placed the sign on his truck.” It doesn’t matter if I’m a garbage man or if I’m a CFO at State Farm. “We all have to discover our gift and be effective”, Dopson said, “I mentor children and that is the passion in my heart.”

Awesome New Tesla Car Drives Automatically

New Tesla Car Drives Automatically:

Awesome New Tesla Car Drives Automatically
Awesome New Tesla Car Drives Automatically

Tesla has done it again! Imagine a self-driven vehicle, isn’t that awesome. This high-tech vehicles do exist but are still in the testing stage. What Elon Musk’s new Tesla model can do is definitely amazing and 100% awesome.

Tesla cars are being equipped with autopilot options. The autopilot allows the driver to take their hands off the wheel and pedals, the car will drive itself. We have known Musk to be on the forefront of many business ventures that are normally designed to push the boundaries of what we think is possible. This new update to the motor-vehicle, will completely shock the world.

This system is however not perfect yet. For example, the roadways need to be clearly marked otherwise the car can’t detect the lanes. Additionally, the technology isn’t fully effective since after a few minutes the car will prompt you to touch the wheel in some manner or way to make sure you are still awake or alive, so reading a book while eating some stuffed sandvich is excluded from start.

We hope to have this technology in all Tesla cars in the near future. It is currently only available in Model S and the Model X.

House In The Middle Of The Woods Straight Out Of Horror Movies

3

Redditor Bamoamn made a discovery that would scare you. Redditor, discovered a long-abandoned cottage in the swamps of Jutland. The cottage looks like something from a horror movie. To make this creepier, the house is surrounded by a swampy moat.

The stone of the house reads ‘Flinthloam’ which means ‘Flint House’ is Danish. The owner of the house is a mystery just like the origin of the house. One of the local claims that the house was built by a farmer who was evicted from his home by the Nazis. There’s a different tale though that says locals built the home as a gift to a Nazi commander. He used it as a hunting cottage and often entertained other hunters in the area.

After doing some research, Bamoamn found that the true story behind Flintholm was that it was built as a recreational getaway in the 1930s by Peder Madsen Pedersen. It was never used as a hideaway from Nazis, but Pedersen and his family were evicted from their home when the German army invaded Jutlan

Dad And His Son Saved By Internet After Coach To Wembley Fails To Show Up

The internet comes to the rescue!! A young lad and his father today were rescued by the internet after their coach to London failed to show up despite having paid for it. The father, who is a supporter of Everton, posted an image on Twitter this morning of his disappointed-looking little lad alongside the caption: “On way home as we’ve been let down for coach and ticket despite paying.”

1s

In an incredible turn of events, as the pair were on their way home, Virgin Trains stepped in and arranged for the dad and lad to travel down to the semi-final and a Liverpool fan sorted them out with tickets. Tony Bellew, a Liverpool based boxer, spotted Dan’s post and also had an offer. Bellew kindly offered to give him and his 5-year-old two tickets to his upcoming fight at Goodison Park against Ilunga Makabu on May 29.

Dan also made it clear that he had no hard feelings as there was just a misunderstanding with the organizer that led to them missing the coach. The pair are now in the ground.

Huge Surprise For Waitress After Paying For Firefighters Breakfast

5

A simple act of kindness can go a really long way. For Liz Woodward, a waitress, all she expected was a smile and probably a thank you. What she got in return was quite amazing. Liz paid the breakfast note for two firefighters at the diner. She did this after she overheard their conversation on the emotions and everything they went through during a 12 hour fire they had to put out on that day. When Tim and Paul went to pay their bill, they were handed a doodle with a note that indicated how grateful Liz was for what they did and that their bill was paid. Despite being brave men, both Tim and Pau,l dropped a few tears after reading the note.

They went home and shared their experience on Facebook. After a background check they found out that Liz’s father , Steve, was paralyzed five years ago and is a quadriplegic. They also found a donation page that Liz had made to raise funds for a vehicle that could handle his wheelchair so that she could drive him around. Tim shared the fundraising page on Facebook. You will not imagine what happened after this.

6

Within a few days, $70,000 had been donated to Liz’s campaign for a wheelchair accessible van – a lot more than the $17,000 she was asking for! Liz was so blown away by this gesture. It is amazing how the smallest of things can make a big differencevar 4

50 Cent took a break this weekend to welcome a special person. He took a break from taking shots at Rick Ross or The Game to welcome his son. A child he met at a meet and greet. The child had to pay in order to see his dad for the first time.

50 Cent took to Instagram saying how his life is full of surprises. This is clearly a pleasant surprise.

“My life is full of surprises, this little guy is my son DAVIAN. He started crying, I was thinking why you crying i gotta pay for this shit. LMAO” – 50 Cent said

Now 50 Cent new Son : “Good Luck dad of the year, good luck!”
